From eyeballing the graph, the answer to seems to be that, although it varies, about a third of the email in my inbox comes from Google!
I’ve run my own email sever for many years as well, for some of the same reasons, and it’s a little disappointing to consider that it really doesn’t make a whole lot of difference.
